Savings (Traditional)

This traditional savings account is a convenient way to save. Your account balance earns daily interest which is compounded and paid quarterly. You can open a regular savings account with an initial deposit of $100. A service charge of $2.00 per quarter will be charged if the average daily balance in the account falls below $100. An excessive transaction fee of $5.00 will be charged for each withdrawal over six per month. The minimum balance fee and initial deposit requirement will not apply to persons ages 21 and under.

Certificates of Deposit (CDs)

Minimum initial deposit is $1,000. The interest rate is fixed for the term of the deposit. Because the funds are left on deposit for a certain time period, the CD receives a higher interest yield. If, however, a withdrawal of the funds is made before maturity, there will be a substantial penalty for early withdrawal.

Individual Retirement Account (IRAs)

We can offer custom solutions to fit your IRA needs. Whether you are making a normal yearly contribution, a transfer or rollover, Seiling State Bank offers both Traditional and Roth IRAs. Health Savings Accounts (HSA) IRAs are also offered. We put all of our IRAs into Certificates of Deposit to maximize growth while being FDIC insured.
